New MD for WWA Australia Pty Ltd April 11, 2005 Perth, Australia – WWA Australia Pty Ltd, auctioneers of heavy equipment, has announced the appointment of Mr John O’Sullivan as its Managing Director. WWA Australia operates in a joint venture with World Wide Auctioneers, a group headquartered in Dubai, UAE. In addition to the Australian operations, the World Wide Auctioneers Group holds fully unreserved auctions, with no minimum bids, seller bids, or reserved items, in Dubai, Amsterdam, Guangzhou and Jakarta. Mr O'Sullivan, who was formerly Managing Director of DoveBid, a major international auction company in Australia, was appointed Managing Director of WWA Australia, effective April 1, 2005. Mr O'Sullivan brings to the company significant experience in the auction business and has a broad range of national and international connections in the heavy equipment industry which will add significant value to the growth of WWA Australia. Previously Mr O'Sullivan has held a number of senior management positions in international auction companies in Europe and Australasia. The company currently operates a 30,000sqm facility in Perth, Western Australia and next month will hold its first auction in Brisbane, Queensland.
